“Great Buys” that will see me making money on EBay

April 20th, 2010 by admin

I have found it easy to turn the time and money I spend at a favorite activity, shopping, into a profitable “cottage industry”. Now when I thrift store shop, or hit the Antique Mall, or the Flea Market I’m no longer shopping for myself but looking for “Great Buys” that will see me making money on EBay.

As any small business owner knows it is the “buyer” who decides the market. So I research what is selling, what is not, I even analyze projected trends, and sometimes I indulge in old favorites, or invest in today’s fad while thinking of tomorrows profit.

Even on EBay you are in a competitive market so your pricing must meet the market trends, and your reputation as a reliable seller will be questioned for EBay Customers pay particular attention to “feedback ratings”. Create a “Customer Service Guide and Policy”.

As in any business organization is the key to success. You’ve done your research, purchased your product, and priced it according to its value and the market. You have a reliable Customer Service Policy in place and have chosen a method of payment, such as Pay Pal, to make your transactions fast and simple for both you and your customer.

You use a reliable method of shipping, and even utilize the packaging and insurance policies many small “Post Box” stores offer. You work from the comfort of your home selling the “treasures” you so enjoyed choosing, and are now able to buy that special present for a loved one, yourself, the 1992 Mercedes Benz Sedan you found for sale on EBay.
